With the High Holidays fast approaching, you might be looking for some fun ways to engage kids during Rosh Hashanah, before and after Yom Kippur, and during Sukkot. Our High Holidays Game Show incorporates trivia and games to play with kids on the High Holidays, and you can play them too! As you gear up for the Jewish New Year, try some of these fun Jewish games for kids:

Rosh Hashanah

Apples and Honey Dip

Players place a ball between their knees/thighs and hop, walk, or wobble a pre-determined track that can include dipping the "apple" into buckets of "honey." Players can compete in teams or individually for the fastest time!

Shofar that Tune

Bone up on your shofar and pop songs by attempting to play/hum/sing a song while blowing the shofar. Challenge participants to identify the song and/or artist.

Sukkot Challenges

Sukkah Build Off

The first team to build a two level "house of cards" using playing cards wins!

Harvest Hunt

Gold coins and plastic vegetables are hidden around the room. Players have to find the coins and vegetables and bring them back to their team's bucket one at a time. Coins are worth one point and the vegetables are worth two. The team with the most points wins.

Lulav Props Challenge

Teams go back and forth using a lulav in different ways. Using their imaginations, players charade the lulav as a prop in an activity that their team needs to guess. The first team to hesitate or repeat an item that the other team has already done loses.

In our High Holidays Game Show, we mix up activities that are active with quick trivia questions.Test a child's knowledge of the Jewish holidays, Israel, and more through a High Holidays quiz for children!
