JCC Harlem--6,000 square feet of pure possibility--is opening on January 2, 2017, at 318 West 118th Street between Frederick Douglass Boulevard and Manhattan Avenue.  As JCC Harlem opens its doors, they look to create innovative programming that will feel unique and capture the sense of community in Harlem, while culminating in unique and meaningful family demonstrations and showcases.

As a program partner, mainstages will be providing year-round performances, open play entertainment, and two brand new afterschool programs that will serve to build a unique culture, engage families, and allow participants to explore new and diverse creative interests.

JCC Harlem Super Hero Academy

For those that leap tall buildings in a single bound or keep a close watch on Gotham city, training is in session. While building skills in theatrical combat, participants learn the importance of physical safety, non-verbal communication and self-control. With these tools, students will use imagination and innovation to create original Super Heroes and Wicked Villains. Students perform original heart-pounding choreographed scenes at semesters end to save the citizens from Doom!

Mondays starting in January for School-age children
